For this shoot I collaborated with model Justin Price to create a series of black and white images that explore the relationship between masculinity and femininity. With some photographer exploring the image of a preverbail male rockstar while others blend the lines of what is considered "mens" and "womens" fashion.
Premise
This shoot follows the fashion of an eccentric musician
Execution
Strobes and angles were the name of the game for this shoot. We wanted to lighting to strike a balance being both moody and evenly lit. To achieve this we three strobes, two for the subject and one for the background. The use of soft overhead lighting and hard edge lighting was the method we ended up adopting. The use of wide angle top down shots were among my personal favorites of this particular shoot.
