This project was a spec ad for Coca-Cola done in collaboration with creative director Crystal Durham. Featuring models Anna Chibisova and Daria Nazarova this was shot in a backyard in the New Jersey suburbs in the summer of 2025
Premise
This shoot is set in the golden age of American surbubia circa 1950's and follows two young women, perhaps housewives, as they enjoy a blissful afternoon in the backyard enjoying the abundance of ice cold Coca-Cola.
Execution
This shoot relied heavily on natural lighting. Lukily the sun was on our side this day. While I would have preferred to shoot this on film, I made the decision to shoot this entire photoshoot on vintage lenses those being the Minolta Rokkor 50mm f/1.4, Yashica DSB 135mm f/2.8 and a Sigma Zoom 21-35mm f/3.5. While not era specific the vintage still captured a soft and dreamy classic look while creating beautiful bokeh in the background.
